Decades of reverence and an almost mythical status in the Funk genre preceded Cymande's resurgence onto the music scene. After a hiatus of a decade, during which their sampled tracks became foundational for hip-hop, the band regrouped a decade ago. Their recent stop at the packed Trianon theater in Paris' Red Light district was a testament to their enduring appeal.
Metalcore superstars Motionless In White are back with their first European headlining tour in four years. Dubbed "Touring The End Of The World", the tour will open off in Warsaw intJanuary 2025, hitting Paris on February 8th and concluding in London on February 22nd.
Now that the Guns N' Roses tour has come to an end, its members (well, not Axl...) are keeping busy with their own side projects. Slash is currently on tour with Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators (we'll be bringing you photos and a review of the last show of the tour later this month) and Duff McKagan has just announced some tour dates for the fall of 2024, including a stop at the beautiful Trianon theater on October 20th.

English Funk legends Cymande are back in Paris to deliver their own brand of "Nyah Rock", a fusion of Funk, Calypso, Soul and Reggae. The band will of course be performing their signature songs, The Message and Brothers On The Slide, to the delight of Parisian fans. Our man Slash is keeping busy. He's just finished the Guns N' Roses 2023 tour with two shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and a headlining set at Hell & Heaven Festival in Guadalajara, Mexico last November, before hitting the road again with his solo band featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators in January. The tour will start in Mexico City on January 23rd and end in Paris on April 29th. We will of course be at the tour closer to report and bring you some photos from the show. Support for all dates will be from none other than Mammoth WVH.
Eric Clapton has announced two shows at the Paris Accor Arena on May 26 and 27 of next year.These will be the legendary guitarist's first Paris dates in almost exactly fourteen years when he played the very same venue with Steve Winwood on May 25th, 2010 (the private corporate gig he did a few years ago doesn't count...) so we're excited to see one of our favorite musicians on stage again.He has been very controversial lately because of his positions on the COVID vaccine, and his association with some more than unsavory characters... But on stage, with a guitar in his hands, he will put politics and other personal considerations to the side and let the music do the talking. And on that front, he has very few equals.Both concerts are very close to being sold out so don't wait to get your tickets!

Attending a Sunn O))) performance is akin to embarking on a sonic pilgrimage, an immersive journey into the depths of experimental soundscapes. In their enigmatic presence, Stephen O'Malley and Greg Anderson, clad in their iconic Druidic cloaks, commandeer the stage, summoning otherworldly frequencies that transcend conventional notions of music. Their music isn't merely heard; it's experienced on a primal level, resonating deep within the core of one's being.
Short but excellent set by Jesse Sykes, accompanied by Phil Wandscher on guitar and Bill Herzog on bass, opening for Sunn O))) in a packed Élysée-Montmartre. Why this wasn't presented as The Sweet Hereafter is anyone's guess, since all the core members of the cult alt-country outfit are present on the stage, but the name matters very little.
LiveNation has announced tour dates in Mike Garson's new venture in his selfless pledge to keep Bowie's music alive: Holoddin Sane - The David Bowie Experience 2025 tour will feature a hologram of the late "Let's Dance" singer backed by an all-star band comprised of superstar Bowie alumni Robert Fripp and Adrian Belew on guitar as well as other ex-Bowie musicians like drummer Mick "Woody"Woodmansey from his "Ziggy Stardust" era and bassist Gail Ann Dorsey. As an added treat, each show will feature special holographic appearances by departed collaborators Mick Ronson and Jeff Beck for what promises to be an unmissable evening of classic rock n' roll insanity!

Ever since Michael Jackson's children were born, they have been the subject of intense scrutiny and rumors as to who actually sired them have been rampant. The late King of Pop was always adamant that he was the real, biological father of his children with Debbie Rowe, but that was never enough to silence the gossip rags and celebrity blogs... So in order to put those rumors to rest once and for all, Paris Jackson, also a successful musician in her own right, has agreed to a DNA test which she took last August. However, the results of said test have remained a secret until now. Finally, we now know the real father of Paris and Blanket, and...
The Pixies were a legendary band for those of us who grew up during the so-called "Grunge" era. While Nirvana was selling out arenas the world over, reaping the seeds of a formula that had largely been sown by the Bostonians during the preceding decade, the originators of that sound were broken up, each member embarking into other ventures. When they eventually returned to active duty in 2003, the Pixies were no longer "alternative": they were a myth, which most of the fans would finally get to see live.
It's now over twenty years later, and the band's second tenure outlasted the first one by a nearly 4 to 1 ratio, so it should come as no surprise that the band is now regarded as a classic outfit, selling out theaters and arenas all across the globe. Still, to be wrapping up a tour with three sold-out Paris Olympias a mere year since their two-date engagement in the same venue is an astonishing accomplishment which few (if any) band of that era can attain.
Jared James Nichols seems to be a perpetually on the road. Barely six months have passed since his headlining gig at Le Café de la Danse, and now he's kicking off the show for Mr. Big at Le Bataclan. We first took notice of him nearly nine years ago when he opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd, and we've seen him several times since opening for various artists.

We've seen him live over a dozen times (including last summer with The Hollywood Vampires) and we've even flown to California to catch his act. Dubbed "Too Close For Comfort", this trek features the return, in updated form, of the magic screen that he's helped pioneer on his "Welcome To My Nightmare" tour and concert film.
