Tom Petty was one of the finest songwriters of the past fifty years. Together with his Heartbreakers, or on his own, he boasted a string of hits and classics that is nearly unrivalled.
Tom Petty had just returned from a very successful tour celebrating 40 years of the Heartbreakers when he was found unresponsive.
This is a major bummer.
